America in Las Vegas: The September 2026 Date Has Played

America's Las Vegas date has played. The band behind "A Horse with No Name," "Ventura Highway" and "Sister Golden Hair" made its Resorts World Theatre debut on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 8 p.m. on the "Happy Trails Tour," a one-night booking that was open to all ages. Nothing follows it here: the tour's only other Nevada date was Reno back in May, and the band's next show is October 24, 2026 in San Diego. Tickets are no longer on sale.

Read the lineup right if you catch them elsewhere: co-founder Gerry Beckley retired from touring in early 2024 after 53 years, so fellow co-founder Dewey Bunnell fronts the road band, and while "Happy Trails" sounds valedictory, no source calls it a farewell tour. Don't confuse this band with America - The Show, the patriotic variety revue at Alexis Park, which is still running.

Insider tipSearching for this band lands people on the Alexis Park variety show of the same name and vice versa. The band is the one with the harmonies; the show is the one with showgirls, and it's the one still selling tickets.
