Zion National Park Tour

The Zion National Park Tour is a full-day guided trip from Las Vegas to southwest Utah, trading the Strip for one of America's most dramatic landscapes. Travelers ride an air-conditioned SUV, van or mini-coach depending on group size, roughly two-and-a-half to three hours each way, following I-15 through the red-walled Virgin River Gorge and past St. George before reaching the towering sandstone cliffs of Zion Canyon.

At the park, a guide leads stops at the signature viewpoints: the Court of the Patriarchs, Canyon Junction and the soaring walls that have drawn painters and photographers for over a century, with free time to walk the short paved trails or ride the park's own shuttle. Round-trip transport and standard Zion entry are typically included, and most departures add lunch, snacks and bottled water. Non-US residents aged 16 and over owe a further $100 each, a fee Zion has charged since January 1, 2026 and one that guided tours collect on top of the ticket price.

Honestly, it is a long, transit-heavy day: five to six hours of the trip is spent driving, which leaves only a few hours actually inside the park, and the day is scenic rather than strenuous - the big-name hikes like Angels Landing and the Narrows are not part of a standard day tour. Summer canyon heat and winter cold at altitude are both possible, so timing matters. Still, for visitors who want to see Zion's grandeur without renting a car, it delivers a genuinely spectacular day.
