Peppermill Restaurant & Fireside Lounge
The Peppermill is the 1972 neon diner of the north Strip — James Beard America's Classics 2024, plate-sized omelets built for two, and 24-hour service Thu-Sun (7am-2am Mon-Wed). The Fireside Lounge shares the building.

Is the Peppermill Worth It? Honest Review & What to Order
The Peppermill is the neon time capsule of the north Strip — a freestanding 1972 diner where the trees glow purple, the booths run royal blue, the ceilings mirror, and the portions arrive in quantities that made it a legend (and a Scorsese location: the Casino scenes were shot in these booths). In 2024 the James Beard Foundation made it official with an America's Classics award.
The menu is comfort at scale: the Maserati omelet arrives plate-sized (~$13), the French Toast Ambrosia feeds a small delegation, the fruit garnishes could staff a still life, and the Peppermill Burger holds the line — most plates genuinely serve two, at $20-35 a head. The adjoining Fireside Lounge (our separate bar page) shares the kitchen and the hours: 24 hours Thursday-Sunday, 7am to 2am Monday-Wednesday.
Set expectations honestly: it's not 24/7 all week (the Monday-Wednesday overnight gap catches people), waits build at weekend breakfast and post-club hours, and the room's dimness is a feature you read menus through. Split plates, order the ambrosia, and detour through the Fireside's sunken fire pit on the way out — it's the same building's second act.
Insider tip Split everything — the omelets and French Toast Ambrosia genuinely feed two — and time overnight visits right: it's only 24 hours Thursday through Sunday. Walk out through the Fireside Lounge for the sunken fire pit; same building, second legend.
