Downtown Las Vegas Hotels
Fremont Street energy, vintage Vegas casinos and friendlier prices.
About Staying Downtown
Downtown is old-school Vegas: the Fremont Street Experience canopy, single-deck blackjack, cheap table minimums and hotels that cost half of a comparable Strip room. The trade-off is a 10–15 minute rideshare to the Strip — many visitors split their stay between the two.
Frequently asked questions
Is Downtown Las Vegas safe for tourists?
The Fremont Street Experience zone is busy, well-lit and patrolled. Like any city core, stick to the main corridors at night — the casino district itself is tourist-friendly.
How far is Downtown from the Strip?
About 4–5 miles. A rideshare runs $15–25 depending on traffic; the Deuce bus connects Fremont Street with the whole Strip around the clock.
