It is, by most counts, the hardest legitimate reservation in Las Vegas.

The mechanics changed recently and matter: entry now runs on prepaid tickets released about three months out (the old email-request system is gone), two seatings nightly at 5:30 and 8:30, Tuesday through Sunday, roughly two hours per performance. The ticket runs around $250 before the Spanish wine pairing that most agree completes the show; all-in lands $400-650 a head.

Judge it as theater with exceptional snacks, because that's the format: rigid times, elbow-to-elbow counter, no substitutions, and portions built for wonder rather than fullness. For modernist-cuisine believers it's a pilgrimage; skeptics should spend the evening at Jaleo outside the door, which shares the DNA at a third the price.
