The luxury is real, not just branding. Dining runs from Charlie Palmer Steak, a long-running fine-dining anchor, to the all-day Verandah and the PRESS lounge for cocktails and small plates. The spa holds a Forbes Five-Star rating across sixteen treatment rooms with hydrotherapy and a Vichy shower, and there's a private seasonal pool with a lazy river and cabanas — plus full access to Mandalay Bay's enormous pool complex next door, with its wave pool, lazy river and lagoon. It's also one of the most genuinely family- and pet-friendly luxury hotels in town.

The trade-offs are the ones that come with a non-gaming hotel at the south end. You're a long walk (or a tram-and-walk) from the center-Strip action around Bellagio and Caesars, and both the nightly resort fee and the $45 self-parking are steep.
