Just over a mile off the Strip, the Gold Coast is a welcoming locals' casino with a Victorian-style gambling-hall character — rich wood, brass fixtures and an easygoing crowd. It's all about value: cheap rooms, locals' prices on dining and gaming, and free self-parking.

There's plenty to do on-site, including a 70-lane bowling centre and regular live music, and a free shuttle runs to its sister property the Orleans and on toward the Strip.
