The value pitch is real, but it pays to read it closely. There is no resort fee — a genuine rarity in Las Vegas — and a free hot breakfast every morning, along with an outdoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center and a combined guest-laundry room (Home2's Spin2Cycle). The catch the "fee-free" marketing skips: self-parking runs $19 a night in the covered garage, so the one unavoidable add-on here is parking rather than a resort charge.

It is a compact select-service hotel, so set expectations accordingly. There is no casino, no on-site restaurant or bar beyond the breakfast room, and no shuttle. The kitchenette is geared to reheating and light prep, not real cooking. And while the Convention Center is a short walk and the Las Vegas Monorail's Convention Center station is nearby, reaching the heart of the Strip still means the Monorail, a rideshare or a drive. For a convention trip, an extended stay or a dog-friendly base with no resort fee, though, it is one of the better-value Hilton options near the LVCC.
