Beyond the basics it adds an outdoor heated saltwater pool and hot tub, a 24-hour fitness center, self-service guest laundry and a complimentary airport shuttle, and it welcomes pets for a fee. That combination makes it a practical, quiet base for families, longer stays or an early flight out.
The trade-offs are what you would expect from a select-service hotel off the Strip. It is roughly a 10- to 15-minute drive to the casinos and the complimentary shuttle runs to Mandalay Bay and the airport if you call ahead, but no further up the Strip, so plan on a car or a rideshare for nights out.
