Is Home2 Suites by Hilton Las Vegas South Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates
Home2 Suites by Hilton Las Vegas South is an all-suite, extended-stay hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard South, a couple of miles past the south end of the Strip and only about two miles from Harry Reid International Airport. Every room is a suite with a full kitchen and a separate living space, and the hotel runs on Hilton's fee-free value formula: free hot breakfast, free self-parking, free Wi-Fi and no resort fee.
Beyond the basics it adds an outdoor heated saltwater pool and hot tub, a 24-hour fitness center, self-service guest laundry and a complimentary airport shuttle, and it welcomes pets for a fee. That combination makes it a practical, quiet base for families, longer stays or an early flight out.
The trade-offs are what you would expect from a select-service hotel off the Strip. It is roughly a 10- to 15-minute drive to the casinos and there is no shuttle to the Strip, so you will want a car or a rideshare for nights out. There is no casino, restaurant or bar on site — just the free breakfast — and the suite kitchens have a full-size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher but no stovetop, so they are better for reheating and storing groceries than for real cooking. The setting is a commercial stretch near the airport rather than a resort corridor.
Insider tipThe "full kitchen" in every suite has a full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and cookware but no stovetop, so shop for microwaveable and no-cook groceries rather than raw ingredients. Families who want the kids down first should book the One-Bedroom King Suite — it's the only layout with a bedroom that closes off from the living room.Check Rates & Availability →
Rooms

King Studio Suite
2An open-plan studio with one king bed and a sitting area built around a queen sofa bed. Like every room here, it comes with a full kitchen — full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and a starter set of cookware and dishes — plus a work desk, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. There is no stovetop, so the kitchen is best for reheating and storing groceries rather than cooking from scratch.

Two Queen Studio Suite
4A studio laid out with two queen beds plus a queen sofa bed in the living space, sleeping up to four. It carries the same full kitchen as the rest of the property (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and cookware) alongside a work desk, a swivel-mounted flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi — a practical pick for families or two friends sharing on a longer stay.

One-Bedroom King Suite
2The roomiest layout: a separate bedroom with one king behind a closing door, and a distinct living room with a queen sofa bed, a work desk and a flat-screen TV. The full kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and cookware) sits between the two, and Wi-Fi is free throughout. Best for guests who want to keep the sleeping and living areas apart.

Accessible Suite
4Accessible suites come in king and two-queen layouts with the same full kitchen and queen sofa bed as the standard rooms. Mobility-accessible versions add a roll-in shower or an accessible bathtub with grab bars; hearing-accessible versions include visual alarms and alert devices for the doorbell, door knock and phone. Request the exact configuration you need when you book.
