M Resort is the polished off-Strip alternative at the far southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard — an upscale, locally owned casino hotel that sits on a low hilltop in Henderson, at the corner of St. Rose Parkway. It punches above its size on food and comfort. The dining lineup was rebuilt around the resort's role as the official team headquarters of the Las Vegas Raiders: Emeril Lagasse's Meril's, the Raiders Tavern & Grill, Anthony's Prime Steak & Seafood (whose Sunday brunch piles on lobster and prime rib), and Marinelli's for Italian, plus The Vig deli and Baby Cakes for coffee and pastries. The honest trade-off is location.
