The Thunderbird is a small, retro-chic boutique hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard, tucked into the 18b Arts District between downtown's Fremont Street and the north end of the Strip. This is a character stay, not a resort. There's no casino floor (just a few bar-top slots), no gym, no room service and no free breakfast, and the on-site food-and-drink concept has changed hands recently, so don't count on the bar-restaurant keeping regular hours.
