Originally opened in 1969 as the International Hotel — the very stage Elvis made famous — the Westgate blends genuine Vegas history with modern comforts. Its crown jewel is the SuperBook, the world's largest race and sportsbook, with hundreds of seats and a colossal 240-foot indoor LED video wall that makes it a bucket-list spot for sports fans.

Rooms are comfortable and affordable for the space, and while it sits off-Strip near the Convention Center, an on-site Las Vegas Monorail station makes reaching the central Strip easy without dealing with traffic or parking. Free self-parking is a bonus. Rates start around $36 a night before fees.

Signature Room

This 440-square-foot room comes with either one king or two double beds with luxury bedding. It features views of either the Las Vegas Strip or the golf course at the Las Vegas Country Club. Among the amenities are a 55-inch flat-screen TV with 3-D technology, a single cup coffee maker, a compact refrigerator and a laptop-compatible safe. This is a non-smoking room.
