Is Circa Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates
Circa is the first ground-up resort built in downtown Las Vegas in decades, and it makes a statement: a strictly adults-only (21+) hotel that wraps retro facades around genuinely cutting-edge technology. It's a sports fan's dream, home to the largest sportsbook in the world — a three-story wall of screens.
Its other showpiece is Stadium Swim, a six-pool amphitheater with a giant screen that's heated and open year-round, and the rooftop Legacy Club delivers some of downtown's best views. With strong dining (Barry's Downtown Prime) and a lively, modern energy, it's a standout. Rates start around $119 a night before fees.
Budget for the add-ons: the resort fee runs $50 plus tax (about $56.50 a night), and parking at the Garage Mahal is paid even for hotel guests — $25 a day to self-park or $20 for valet, one of the few places in Vegas where valet is the cheaper option. Circa anchors the west end of the Fremont Street Experience, roughly 4 miles from mid-Strip: count on a 15-minute drive or rideshare, or take the 24/7 Deuce bus that links Fremont Street with the entire Strip. Downtown itself needs no car — the canopy, the Mob Museum and a dozen casinos are all within a ten-minute walk.
