The Horseshoe name is synonymous with poker history, and the rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally's) brings that heritage to one of the most central spots on the Strip, directly across from the Bellagio fountains. The casino and poker offerings are a natural draw for players.

Rooms have been freshly renovated and remain genuinely affordable for the location, and the property connects through to the LINQ Promenade — putting the High Roller observation wheel, Brooklyn Bowl and a strip of bars within a short walk. For value this central, it's hard to beat, with rates from around $22 a night before fees.

Know before you go: the resort fee is $49.95 plus tax — about $57 a night on top of the room rate — and self-parking costs hotel guests $20 a day ($20–$25 for visitors; Nevada residents get the first 3 hours free). The payoff for that address is logistics: the Bellagio fountains play directly across the boulevard, the Las Vegas Monorail's Horseshoe/Paris station sits at the back of the property, the 24-hour Deuce bus stops out front, and an indoor walkway connects the casino to Paris Las Vegas next door. The Strip-and-Flamingo corner outside is one of the busiest crossings in Las Vegas, so light sleepers should ask for a higher floor away from the boulevard.
