Is Horseshoe Las Vegas Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates

The Horseshoe name is synonymous with poker history, and the rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally's) brings that heritage to one of the most central spots on the Strip, directly across from the Bellagio fountains. The casino and poker offerings are a natural draw for players.

Rooms date from a 2018 redesign and remain genuinely affordable for the location, and a 10-minute walk north past the Flamingo brings you to the LINQ Promenade - putting the High Roller observation wheel, Brooklyn Bowl and a strip of bars in easy reach. For value this central, it's hard to beat, with rates from around $22 a night before fees.

Know before you go: the resort fee is $49.95 plus tax - about $57 a night on top of the room rate - and self-parking costs hotel guests $20 a day ($20–$25 for visitors; Nevada residents get the first 3 hours free). The payoff for that address is logistics: the Bellagio fountains play directly across the boulevard, the Las Vegas Monorail's Horseshoe/Paris station sits at the back of the property, the 24-hour Deuce bus stops out front, and an indoor walkway connects the casino to Paris Las Vegas next door. The Strip-and-Flamingo corner outside is one of the busiest crossings in Las Vegas, so light sleepers should ask for a higher floor away from the boulevard.

Yes. Caesars rebranded the former Bally's as Horseshoe Las Vegas, reviving the Horseshoe name tied to Las Vegas poker history. The rooms were not part of the changeover (they were last redesigned in 2018), and the dead-central spot at the Strip & Flamingo corner is unchanged. One real difference: the old south Jubilee Tower was handed to Paris Las Vegas in 2024 as its Versailles Tower, so Horseshoe today is the single Resort Tower with about 2,050 rooms.

What is the resort fee at Horseshoe Las Vegas?

It's $49.95 plus tax a night - about $57 all-in - charged on top of the room rate, and it covers Wi-Fi for two devices. Because rooms start around $22, the resort fee often costs more than the room itself, so always budget it in rather than shopping on the headline nightly rate alone.
