Sam's Town
Sam's Town is a friendly locals' resort on Boulder Highway, pairing affordable rooms with a free indoor Mystic Falls atrium park (and its light-and-water show), a 56-lane bowling alley, an 18-screen cinema and free parking. Better for nature lovers than Strip-walkers, from $56/night.

Is Sam's Town Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates
Set on the 'Boulder Strip' about 15 minutes from the main action, Sam's Town is a long-running locals' favorite with a warm, down-to-earth feel. Its centerpiece is Mystic Falls Park, a lush indoor atrium with a free animatronic light-and-water show that runs several times a day — a genuinely fun, no-cost draw.
Add a 56-lane bowling center, an 18-screen cinema and a sprawling casino, and there's plenty under one roof. It sits closer to the Clark County Wetlands Park than to the Strip, so it suits outdoorsy travellers with a car rather than those wanting to stroll the Boulevard. Free self-parking, with rates from around $56 a night.
The resort fee is about $34 a night including tax — low by Vegas standards — and both self-parking and valet are free, with two RV parks on top. Just plan around the location: Boulder Highway is a 15–20 minute drive from the Strip, so this is a with-a-car pick.
Insider tipBook a Deluxe (King or 2 Queens) or the Spa Suite and your window overlooks the glass-roofed Mystic Falls atrium — the Deluxe rooms also add a fridge and coffeemaker, while the cheaper 375-sq-ft Classic rooms face outward.Check Rates & Availability →
