The Waldorf Astoria is the Strip's antidote to noise and neon - a serene, non-gaming AAA Five Diamond retreat in the heart of CityCenter, tailored to travelers who value calm and impeccable service over casino buzz. Its 23rd-floor Peacock Alley tea lounge and Hard Shake bar set the tone, with sweeping Strip views and afternoon tea service (check-in itself moved to a new ground-floor lobby in the renovation).

Rooms are refined and understated, the spa is among the city's best, and the whole experience leans into quiet, high-end tranquility - reflected in its AAA Five Diamond award and Forbes Four-Star spa. It's a premium splurge, with rates from around $269 a night before fees, but for refined calm in a central location, it's in a class of its own.

Two practical notes: the resort fee is $55 plus tax (about $62 a night), and parking is valet-only - there's no self-park garage. The Shops at Crystals and the free ARIA Express tram are next door, and the hotel has long allowed check-in at 18, a rarity in Las Vegas, though some current listings show 21, so confirm with the hotel if you are under 21.
