Kenny Chesney opened his Sphere residency — 11 shows through July 11, from $69

Country's beach-bum king runs at Sphere until July 11, and the July 4 date lines up with the Strip fireworks outside.

Kenny Chesney kicked off his 2026 run at Sphere on Friday, June 19 — and brought out Eric Church for a surprise three-song set mid-show, including a joint "When I See This Bar" and Church's "Drink in My Hand." The residency runs 11 shows through July 11, so as of this week there's still July left.

The production is built for the room: 360-degree visuals that put you on a beach for "Summertime" and "Pirate Flag," haptics in the seats, and a setlist that opened with "Here and Now" and ran more than 20 songs deep on night one.

Tickets start at $69 on Ticketmaster. The premium "Sandbar" floor spots and lower-bowl seats run $350–500. Midweek dates in early July have the best availability — the July 4 show is the one everyone wants, partly because the Sphere sits a short walk from the Strip's synchronized America 250 fireworks that same night.

One honest caveat: the $69 seats are in the upper bowl, and the rake up there is steep. You'll see the full screen fine — that's the point of Sphere — but if steep drops bother you, spend up for the lower bowl.

Our take: there's no bad screen view in this building, so the cheap seats are a fair deal — buy direct on Ticketmaster and skip resale markups. If you're choosing dates, take a midweek show over July 4: same production, thinner crowds, and you can catch the fireworks from the Strip on the 4th anyway.
