Le Cirque closes at Bellagio on August 23 after 28 years — this is your last summer to book

The Michelin-starred French room that helped define fine dining in Vegas serves its final dinner August 23; reserve now or miss it for good.

One of the restaurants that turned Las Vegas into a real fine-dining city is closing. Le Cirque, the jewel-box French room inside Bellagio since the resort opened in 1998, serves its final dinner on August 23, 2026 after nearly 28 years. It held a Michelin star, a Forbes Five-Star rating, and AAA Five Diamond — a rare trifecta on the Strip.

"Le Cirque played a pivotal role in the city's transformation into the fine dining destination it is today," said Bellagio general manager Mark Czerniak. MGM Resorts plans an entirely new dining concept in the space, expected in mid-2027.

Practically: if a classic French tasting menu overlooking the Bellagio fountains is on your Vegas bucket list, this is the last summer to do it. Reservations for the final weeks book out fast — lock a date before you fly in, not after.

Our take: don't wait for August — the closing weeks turn into a scramble and the kitchen is best when it isn't slammed with farewell crowds. Book a July weeknight, request a fountain-view table, and go for the prix fixe. After this, that view comes with a very different (and unproven) restaurant.
