The world's biggest Museum of Ice Cream opens July 3 at Area15
A 30,000-square-foot flagship with an all-you-can-eat ice cream buffet and a sprinkle pool — tickets from $42.
Museum of Ice Cream opens its biggest location anywhere on July 3 at Area15, the immersive entertainment complex just off the Strip. At 30,000 square feet it's triple the size of the brand's other outposts — 14 interactive installations, five slides including a double-helix, a wedding chapel, and the sprinkle pool the brand is known for.
The pull for most families is the Golden Scoop Buffet: unlimited ice cream with 20-plus flavors and a wall of toppings, included with every ticket. Tickets start at $42 and are on sale now at museumoficecream.com.
It slots neatly into an Area15 day — the complex is one of the better rainy-day-proof, heat-proof options in Vegas, and it's genuinely built for kids without being useless for adults. If you're traveling with children, our Las Vegas with kids guide maps out the rest of a family-friendly day nearby.
Our take: $42 for unlimited ice cream and a photo-bait sensory playground is fair for families and Instagram tourists — less so if you're neither. Book the first slot of the day (it's the coolest and least mobbed), don't eat lunch first, and treat the buffet as the meal.
