Roughly March to October. Dayclubs open in early to mid-March and close between mid-September and mid-October; resort pools follow a similar arc with shorter hours at the ends, and a few heated pools run all winter.

The 2026 season, as it ran

  • March 6: the first dayclub reopened, with most following by mid-March.
  • Summer: full weekends at the dayclubs; hotel pools at full hours.
  • September: dayclubs drop to weekends only.
  • October 11: TAO Beach and Palm Tree Beach Club close.
  • October 17: Encore Beach Club's last day party.
  • Through October: resort pools stay open, with closing times creeping earlier. Resorts publish the end date late and adjust it to the weather.

Winter

Most big resorts keep one heated pool open, typically 9 or 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the bar closed and the deck thin: Bellagio, The Venetian and Palazzo, Caesars Palace's adults-only Venus (year-round), Mandalay Bay's Moorea Beach Club while the wave pool takes its break, and one Wynn or Encore pool.

  • Stadium Swim at Circa, Downtown: the real winter pool. Six pools heated to 94 to 104°F facing a 143-foot screen, open every day of the year, passes from $20, 21 and over.
  • Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan encloses its deck in a heated dome and runs parties all winter.

Two practical notes: a late-October pool day is a 75°F day, and the water gets chilly even when the deck is pleasant. Any winter pool can close on a cold or windy day, so treat it as a bonus rather than the point of a December trip.

Season dates and resort pools versus dayclubs are in pools and dayclubs; weather by month in best time to visit.
