Is Bardot Brasserie Worth It? Honest Review & What to Order
Bardot Brasserie is Michael Mina's turn-of-the-century Parisian brasserie at Aria — and the owner of one of the two or three most famous brunches in Las Vegas. The 2024 brunch revamp doubled down on what worked: the Croissant Benedict, tableside preparations, Diane's roving Bloody Mary cart, and the Everlasting Rose dessert that launched a thousand celebrations.
The weekly shape matters: brunch runs Friday through Sunday 9am-2pm (the marquee service, booking a week or two out), dinner Tuesday-Saturday from 5pm, dark Mondays, Sunday brunch-only. The dinner register is honest brasserie — French onion soup with Périgord truffle, escargot, steak frites around $45, mains mostly $30-60 — with a genuine 5-7pm bar happy hour that makes a Mina kitchen weeknight-affordable.
Set the tier expectation right: this is an upscale brasserie, not a tasting-menu temple — $70-120 a head at dinner, $50-90 at brunch before the caviar-and-bubbles upsells that can double it. The complaint sheet is short: brunch noise, brunch scarcity, and a Monday you can't eat there. Reliable beats thrilling here, deliberately.
Insider tip Brunch is the contested service — book two weeks out for weekend mid-morning — but the weekday 5-7pm bar happy hour is the uncontested one: onion soup, oysters, and a proper cocktail at half the evening's tariff, walk-in.
