Kaia is AREA15's sit-down Asian eatery — relaunched in 2025 from its original 'Kaia Handroll' identity into a broader Asian-eclectic menu under chef Yoshi Tuaolo: handrolls and build-your-own sushi bowls still lead, now flanked by dumplings, noodles, and cocktails, all wrapped in the district's anime-and-neon visual language.

The practicalities favor spontaneity: entering AREA15 to eat is free (tickets are only for attractions like Omega Mart), the room runs daily 11:30am to 10pm with walk-ins standard and OpenTable as backup, and the check lands a friendly $25-45 a head — handrolls $8-16, bowls $14-20. Set expectations to the setting: this is fast-casual-plus fusion, not a Chinatown sushi pilgrimage — pan-Asian by design, theme-park-adjacent by location, and loud whenever the district fills.
