The Beast

The Beast is AREA15's full-service steampunk gastropub — open daily 11:30 to 10 in the main building, serving dry-aged burgers, shareable plates, and 'Beast-sized' $34 double cocktails to the Meow Wolf crowd. Clearing up the confusion the district itself created: the sit-down restaurant never closed — the Zone 2 expansion (August 2025) added a separate 'Beast Mobile Food Trailer' as a grab-and-go outlet, and the Todd English celebrity branding quietly faded from the marquee (his 'TE' initials survive on the burger names).

The menu holds gastropub center: the Classic TE Double Stack, the dry-aged Frenchie burger with raclette and truffle aioli, a legit vegan black-bean build, pizzas, and tacos — $20-25 a head for food, $25-40 with a drink, and fishbowls for tables that came to commit. OpenTable takes bookings; walk-ins are the norm.

Frame it honestly: this is refuel-with-personality between immersive attractions, not destination dining — loud whenever the district is, gimmick-forward by design, and reviewed accordingly. As the sit-down anchor of an AREA15 day, it does the job the trailer can't: chairs, cocktails, and air conditioning.
