Zuma
Zuma at the Cosmopolitan is Rainer Becker's izakaya running three kitchens — robata, sushi, main line — with a $165 omakase and a genuine Sun-Thu 5:30-7pm bar happy hour. Dinner only (no Vegas brunch).

Is Zuma Worth It? Honest Review & What to Order
Zuma is Rainer Becker's globe-spanning izakaya at the Cosmopolitan — three kitchens working in parallel: the main line, the sushi counter, and the robata grill running binchotan charcoal behind a Thai-teak counter. The Vegas edition holds the brand's standard: contemporary Japanese sharing plates at high-energy volume.
Order across all three stations — that's the format's whole point: the spicy beef tenderloin ($64) and rib-eye wafu ($47) off the robata, sushi from the counter, and the roasted lobster in shiso-ponzu butter ($87) from the kitchen. Structured routes run the signature omakase around $165 or the $350 robata omakase with premium pairings. One correction to old listings: Vegas Zuma is dinner-only — no brunch here, unlike some sister cities.
The value hack hides at the bar: Sunday-Thursday 5:30-7pm, a real happy hour drops shared plates to $7-and-up with $14 specialty cocktails — a genuine bargain for this tier. Weekends book two-to-four weeks out; the room runs club-loud by 8pm; small plates stack the bill faster than any steakhouse. Plan $100-175 a head à la carte.
Insider tip The Sunday-Thursday 5:30-7pm bar happy hour is the best-kept math at the Cosmopolitan — shared plates from $7 and $14 cocktails from the same three kitchens. Going full dinner? Order across all three stations; single-station ordering wastes the format.
