Is Punk Rock Brunch Worth It? Honest Review of Brunch of Broken Dreams
Punk Rock Brunch - also marketed as Brunch of Broken Dreams - is a morning concert where a rotating crew of Vegas vocalists tears through 90s and Y2K punk, pop-punk, and emo: Green Day, Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, Fall Out Boy. It now plays The Venue at Masquerade Village inside Rio Hotel & Casino on select weekend mornings, with some dates still landing at its original home, The Composers Room, an independent showlounge at 953 E Sahara Ave - doors around 10 a.m., live music from about 11 - and the crowd is exactly who you'd guess: people who had these songs on burned CDs, now happily day-drinking to them.
Read the ticket tiers carefully, because the cheap one includes no food: show-only entry runs about $50, the brunch-buffet tier about $70, and VIP around $85 - "brunch" is only literal in the upper tiers. The venue is off-Strip (free parking, ~10-minute rideshare from mid-Strip), the calendar is irregular rather than weekly - your travel dates may simply have no show - and the live set itself runs about an hour inside a roughly two-hour hang.
Insider tipThe show-only ticket plus tacos afterward beats the buffet tier on value - pay for the brunch package only if bottomless drinks are the point.Check Tickets & Prices →
