Is Wayne Newton Worth It? Honest Review & Tips
Wayne Newton is the last living link to the Vegas that invented Vegas - Mr. Las Vegas himself, now in his mid-80s, holding court in the 150-seat Bugsy's Cabaret at the Flamingo with “Up Close and Personal.” The format is exactly that: part songs, part six decades of stories - Sinatra, Elvis, the Rat Pack, all firsthand - and part audience Q&A, in a room small enough that “up close” is literal.
Book it with clear eyes: this is not a concert. His voice is well past its prime and the actual singing is limited - you're paying around $73 (about $88 with fees) for proximity to a living piece of entertainment history, and on those terms the room regularly leaves delighted. Skeptics of nostalgia acts should spend elsewhere. Performances run in clusters of select nights - typically Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7 PM - rather than a fixed weekly grid, so check the calendar for real dates. About 80–90 minutes, family-friendly, ages 5+.
Insider tipSit anywhere - 150 seats means the room does the work - but come with a question ready: the Q&A stretches are where the evening turns from show into the story you'll retell for years.Check Tickets & Prices →
