Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim offers the canyon's most iconic, mile-deep panoramas, with rim trails, viewpoints and a visitor center. About a 4.5-hour drive from Las Vegas, it's grander — and farther — than the closer West Rim. A per-vehicle entrance fee applies.

Grand Canyon National Park Las Vegas: Review, Tickets & What to Expect
Grand Canyon National Park is one of the world's great natural wonders, and its South Rim is the classic, postcard view — a mile deep, miles wide and endlessly photogenic, with layers of rock glowing in shifting light. Paved rim trails, dramatic overlooks and a visitor center make it easy to explore.
It's worth knowing this is the national-park South Rim, roughly a 4.5-hour drive east of Las Vegas — farther but more expansive than the Hualapai-run West Rim that's closer to the city. Given the distance, many visitors make it an overnight rather than a day trip. A per-vehicle entrance fee applies. Check current fees online.
