John Mayer Live at Sphere Concert Tickets

John Mayer plays six nights at Sphere in April 2027: the 8th, 10th and 11th, then the 15th, 17th and 18th, at 8 p.m. according to the promoter's listing. He knows the building better than almost anyone who has headlined it, having played 48 Sphere shows with Dead & Company across 2024 and 2025, the Dead Forever residency that grossed more than $131 million and was named Pollstar's residency of the year. This run is his own, and each night is built in three parts: a solo set that leans on acoustic guitar with piano and electric passages, a full-band set, and a John Mayer Trio set with drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Pino Palladino, which The Venetian's announcement calls the Trio's first shows together since 2017. The 17,600-seat room's wraparound screen and its beamforming sound system are part of the production; what Mayer puts on the screen has not been previewed.

Tickets start at $129 per the announcement, which does not say whether fees are included, and $1 from every ticket goes to his Back To You Fund. Travel packages went on sale September 30, the artist presale opened October 7, SiriusXM's presale runs October 8, and the general on-sale is Friday, October 9, 2026 at 10 a.m. PT. Some VIP seats are auctioned for the Heart and Armor Foundation, the veterans' health charity he founded in 2012. No age policy, runtime or doors time has been published; Sphere requires a ticket for every guest regardless of age.

The hard parts are access and rules. Six nights for a Sphere-sized demand means the floor and lower bowl will go in the presales and the open market will run well above $129 from day one, so treat anything listed before October 9 as resale. Sphere allows only a small clutch or fanny pack, roughly 6 by 6 by 2 inches, with no bag check, and no outside food or drink.
