Is Chicago at The Venetian Worth It? The 2027 Dates and Lineup

Nine nights, one theater, a tenth consecutive year. Chicago's 2027 run at The Venetian Theatre covers February 19, 20, 21, 24, 26 and 27 and March 3, 5 and 6, all at 8 p.m. The band bills itself as the longest-running residency act in the room's history, with 70 shows there so far, and 2027 marks its 60th straight year on the road.

Know who is on stage before you buy. Trumpeter Lee Loughnane is the founding member still touring; co-founders Robert Lamm and James Pankow are listed by the band as unable to tour for health reasons, and lead vocals now belong to Rudy Cardenas. The horn-driven catalog is the draw, played by a ten-piece that includes Ray Herrmann on saxes and Walfredo Reyes Jr. on drums.

The March 5 and 6 shows land on the Chicago Fan Club's annual convention weekend, which means the most devoted crowd of the run, and convention passes don't include concert tickets. Seats went on sale October 16, 2026. The Venetian page covers the resort in the middle of the Strip.

Insider tipIf a calmer room matters more than superfan energy, skip March 5 and 6, when the Fan Club convention is in town; the Wednesday shows on February 24 and March 3 are the midweek alternatives.
