The LINQ Hotel + Experience trades on a young, laid-back, value-first vibe, with a 21-and-over pool deck, a Guy Fieri restaurant, lively bars like 3535 and O'Sheas, and its own resident headliner, AGT-winning magician Mat Franco. The rooms are simple and modern, and the prices are some of the best for this central a location.

The real selling point is what's outside the door: the hotel opens directly onto the LINQ Promenade, an open-air avenue of bars, restaurants and shops anchored by the High Roller — at 550 feet, the tallest observation wheel in the US — and the Fly LINQ zipline. Rates start around $22 a night before fees.

Know before you book: the resort fee is $50 plus tax (about $57 a night) and self-parking runs $20 a day for guests — there is no valet at the hotel itself, only at the LINQ Promenade garage. In exchange you get one of the most central addresses on the Strip, between the Flamingo and Harrah's and across from Caesars Palace, though rooms facing the Promenade can pick up crowd and concert noise on busy nights.
