Is Late Night Magic Worth It? Honest Review of the Magicians Room Show

Late Night Magic is an adults-only magic showcase hosted by Douglas "Lefty" Leferovich, who emcees a rotating cast of magicians, mentalists, and sideshow acts - a different mix on any given night, held together by Lefty's sleight-of-hand and after-hours energy. In late 2025 the show moved from the Orleans to The Magicians Room, a 200-seat magic speakeasy on the LINQ Promenade that opened in November 2025 - you enter through a hidden door inside a claw-machine arcade, which is half the fun and also the reason first-timers wander the Promenade looking for it. Shows run Sundays and Mondays at 8:30 p.m., 75 to 90 minutes, and the material earns the 18-and-over door policy: this is risqué, crowd-working late-night magic, not a family illusion show.

The trade-offs are the flip side of the format. A rotating lineup means no guaranteed names, and the room can feel half-full on slow nights; some guests find the sound system loud for the space. The Magicians Room trimmed its schedule in July 2026, so the show is down to two nights a week: anyone in town Tuesday through Saturday misses it entirely. The 8:30 p.m. start is easier than the old 10:30 slot, though it now competes with dinner and the big Strip shows. Tickets run from about $36 with fees (still cheap for a center-Strip location), and the speakeasy setting is a real upgrade over the old off-Strip showroom. Dates are on sale through late December 2026.

Insider tipThe room is small enough that every seat works, so skip seating upsells - put the savings toward a drink and arrive 15 minutes early to actually find the hidden entrance.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Late Night Magic now - didn't it play the Orleans?

It moved. Since November 2025 the show runs at The Magicians Room on the LINQ Promenade, a 200-seat magic speakeasy - the entrance is a hidden door inside a claw-machine arcade. The old Orleans listing is outdated.

How do I find the entrance?

Look for the arcade storefront on the LINQ Promenade near the center of the walkway - the theater door is concealed inside, speakeasy-style. Give yourself an extra ten minutes the first time; plenty of ticket-holders walk past it.

Who performs in the show?

Douglas "Lefty" Leferovich hosts every performance and does his own close-up work between guests. The rest of the bill rotates among Vegas magicians, mentalists, and sideshow performers, so no two visits run the same acts.

What's the age policy?

Eighteen and over, and the material is adult. Bring photo ID.

When does it run and how long is it?

Sundays and Mondays at 8:30 p.m., 75 to 90 minutes. The Magicians Room cut the show back to two nights in July 2026, and dates are on sale through late December 2026. There's a full bar in the room; drinks are separate from the ticket.
