Stoney's Rockin' Country
Stoney's Rockin' Country at Town Square is the city's real country dance hall - a 2,500 sq ft floor, free line-dance lessons Thu-Sat, $3-drink Ladies Night Thursdays, and a mechanical bull. Thu-Sat 7pm-2am; dark Sunday through Wednesday.
Inside Stoney's Rockin' Country
Stoney's Rockin' Country is the city's serious country dance hall - a 2,500-plus-square-foot dance floor, a mechanical bull, a stage, and a patio at Town Square, the open-air mall about two miles south of the Strip, where it's anchored the nightlife corner since 2016. This is where Las Vegas actually line dances, as opposed to where tourists watch it happen.
The week runs Thursday through Saturday, 7pm to 2am: free line-dance lessons at 7:30 and 8:30pm, Thursday Ladies Night with $3 wells, wine, and Miller drafts, a live country band on Fridays with 18+ admission, and Bikini Bull Riding the first Thursday of each month. Saturdays, military, nurses, teachers, and first responders get in free.
Plan for the geography: Town Square means a car or rideshare, there's nothing walkable about it from the Strip, and Sunday through Wednesday the room is dark. The floor also starts slow - lessons at 7:30, but the hall doesn't properly fill until after 9. The Town Square lease is finite: a November 2025 extension runs it from January 2026 through February 2027, with further extensions possible by mutual agreement, so this address isn't guaranteed beyond that. On August 15, 2026 the brand opened a third valley venue, Stoney's Sunset, inside Sunset Station in Henderson, alongside Stoney's North Forty at Santa Fe Station. If country isn't your lane, nothing here will convert you; if it is, this is the one.
Insider tipCome for the 7:30pm lesson, not the 8:30 - the floor is emptier and instructors have time for beginners. Service workers: Saturday entry is free for military, nurses, teachers, and first responders with ID.Check Tables & Tickets →
