Hakkasan stacks five stories and 80,000 square feet into MGM Grand's Strip corner — main room, mezzanine, the Ling Ling club-within-a-club, The Studio, and two floors of Cantonese restaurant underneath it all. It spent the 2010s as an EDM fortress with Tiesto and Calvin Harris on the marquee. It doesn't sound like that anymore.

In 2026 the calendar leans hard into hip-hop and R&B — Big Sean, Rick Ross, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa — with EDM one-offs like Steve Aoki and Benny Benassi mixed in. R&Bae Wednesdays with DJ Franzen has become the Strip's default R&B night since Drai's rooftop closed in 2025. The fixed megastar residencies are gone; this is a booking-driven room now, and the night's genre depends entirely on who's on the flyer.

The scale cuts both ways. Five levels mean real walks between rooms, stair bottlenecks, and a crowd that can feel like three different clubs sharing one building. Check the lineup before you commit — a Wednesday and a Saturday here are different worlds.
