Substance is an 18,000-square-foot club on an upper floor of the Neonopolis complex on Fremont Street, opened in July 2024 to bring a Strip-scale production setup to Downtown. The room is built around a 200,000-watt L-Acoustics sound system, a LED wall running more than 100 feet, and a heavy lighting rig, with an industrial look and graffiti work by artist Gear Duran.
Programming runs event-driven rather than on a fixed weekly schedule, booked by local promoter RVLTN Events with ties to Insomniac and the Latin-focused Altura. Expect electronic genres — house, techno, bass and harder styles — plus the occasional themed or crossover night. The space includes stage-side VIP risers, a patio, and lockers; door times shift by event.
