Substance
Substance is downtown's EDM warehouse — 18,000 sq ft in Neonopolis with a 200,000-watt L-Acoustics rig, a 100-ft LED wall, and Insomniac-network headliners on Fri-Sat. Event-driven: check the calendar first.

Inside Substance, Downtown's EDM Warehouse
Substance is the club Vegas EDM heads kept saying downtown needed: an 18,000-square-foot industrial warehouse inside Neonopolis with a 200,000-watt L-Acoustics rig, a 100-foot 4K LED wall, and a booking policy that runs through the Insomniac pipeline — the EDC talent network — rather than Strip-style open format.
Programming is event-driven: Friday and Saturday, roughly 10pm to 3am, with headliners like Big Gigantic and Whethan on the 2026 calendar and house, techno, and Latin-electronic filling the grid. Some Thursdays and holidays add dates; other nights it's dark, so the calendar check isn't optional here — it's the whole system.
The trade-offs are the point: brutalist concrete and low ceilings instead of chandeliers, minimal seating, no dress-code theater, and drink prices a tier under the Strip. A free guest list runs on most nights with a cutoff around 12:30am. It's a rideshare from Strip hotels and Neonopolis gets gritty late — but if the lineup is your genre, this is the best sound system in the city per dollar spent.
Insider tipTreat it like a show, not a bar crawl stop: check the lineup on the club's calendar, grab the free guest list, and clear the door before the ~12:30am cutoff. The room is built for sound — stand center-floor at least once.
