Sinatra at Encore is the only restaurant the Sinatra family has ever sanctioned to carry the name — a warm, chandeliered Italian room with a fireplace-dotted Tuscan patio, longtime chef Theo Schoenegger's ossobuco 'My Way' as the anchor, and Ol' Blue Eyes on the soundtrack at a volume that respects conversation.
Set the memorabilia record straight: the original 1954 Oscar for From Here to Eternity (plus the Emmy and Grammy) went back to the Sinatra family years ago and now lives at USC — the entrance showcases hold a personal-keepsakes exhibit of records, photos, and busts instead. Plenty of tourist guides still promise the statuette; don't arrive expecting it.
Dinner runs nightly (entrees $51 to the $225 lamb rack for two; plan $120-180 a head), joined by the newer 'Sunrise at Sinatra' breakfast service — a genuinely calm morning option in a resort short on them. Reservations are sane by Strip standards, the business-casual code is enforced, and the patio, when the weather allows, is one of the Strip's best-kept outdoor dining rooms.
