Start at the registration desk under Maya Lin's 'Silver River,' an 84-foot cast of the Colorado River in reclaimed silver, then follow the free brochure map to Jenny Holzer's 'VEGAS' at the north valet, Nancy Rubins' boat-cluster 'Big Edge' at Harmon Circle, and Oldenburg & van Bruggen's 24-foot 'Typewriter Eraser, Scale X' on the pedestrian bridge near the Waldorf Astoria. Even the free tram earns a stop — James Turrell's 'Shards of Color' lives at the Crystals tram level.

The honest catch: this is a working casino campus, not a museum. Pieces sit at restaurant entrances and valet drives with little or no labeling, so without the map you'll walk straight past a Frank Stella.
