Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a 1,200-acre motorsport city 15 miles north of the Strip: the 1.5-mile superspeedway that hosts two NASCAR Cup weekends a year (the South Point 400 on October 4, 2026 and the Pennzoil 400 on March 21, 2027), The Strip dragway that runs the Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals from October 30 to November 1, 2026, the Bullring short track, and the Electric Daisy Carnival, which in 2027 splits into two May weekends on the infield: May 14-16 and May 21-23. Everything is event-driven: prices, access and what's even running depend entirely on the calendar, and parking is free at every event.

Between race weekends the place isn't dead, just quieter. Track tours run Monday to Friday for $20 a head, Dream Racing and the NASCAR Racing Experience operate driving programs on the infield road course, the Bullring and the drag strip fill the calendar with local series, and from early November to early January the Glittering Lights drive-through covers the property in Christmas displays. Know the gate rules before a race: two bags per person, none larger than 18x18x14 inches, and no coolers, outside alcohol, folding chairs, umbrellas or drones. The grandstands are open to the sky, which makes a summer day event genuinely punishing. Don't confuse this with Exotics Racing's separate track south of the city; Dream Racing is the one here.
