Is Machine Guns Vegas Worth It? A First-Timer Reality Check
Machine Guns Vegas is an indoor shooting range on Aldebaran Avenue, just west of I-15 and a short drive from the center Strip. It sells fixed packages rather than lane rental. SEAL Team 6 ($239) covers a Glock 19, an M4 carbine, a tactical shotgun and a belt-fed M249 SAW; Femme Fatale ($159) is a pink-furniture Glock 17 with an MP5 and an M4; Urban Assault ($89) is two submachine guns at 25 rounds each; and a set of John Wick tie-in lineups sits alongside them. A range safety officer works with one shooter at a time and handles every gun swap between magazines. Indoor bookings include free round-trip pickup from Strip hotels, and the front room is laid out as a lounge rather than a gun counter.
The number that matters is round count. It's fixed per firearm and small, so trigger time comes to a few minutes inside a visit the range puts at 30-plus minutes on average, and staff will offer add-on guns and extra rounds once you're on the lane. Adult packages are 18 and over with a government photo ID; the separate Kids Experience takes 10-to-17-year-olds who clear 51 inches and 89 pounds with a parent or legal guardian present, using a bolt-action Mossberg rifle and a single-shot Commando. Reservations are non-refundable, though they transfer for 12 months. The neighborhood is a plain industrial block with nothing else to do nearby. What you're paying for is the one-on-one supervision, which is genuinely reassuring for a nervous first-timer. Outdoor desert shoots with bigger hardware run off-site by reservation.
Insider tipRead the round count on the package page before you book, not the gun list. Urban Assault is 25 rounds per firearm, and a full-auto burst is through that in seconds, so a lineup mixing a pistol or bolt-action rifle with one machine gun stretches the session much further.Check Tickets & Prices →
