The tower itself stands 540 feet, and the location is the whole point: you're directly across the street from the Bellagio fountains, so the shows fire straight below you rather than off on the horizon.

The deck has been opening at 4 PM and running to midnight, which makes this an evening attraction whether you planned one or not. It's enclosed in safety fencing, so you'll be shooting photos through the mesh gaps, and it gets noticeably windier and cooler than street level. The payoff is the fountains, the neon and the tower's own sparkle show, which fires every half hour from sunset (that one you watch from the street, not the deck). Tickets run from $33 including taxes and fees, aren't tied to an entry time, and stay valid for three days after the date you pick. Night, and it isn't close: the Bellagio fountains run more often in the evening, the Strip is lit end to end, and the last entry at 11:30 PM means you can ride up late when the crowds thin. With a 4 PM opening there's only an hour or two of daylight on the table anyway, and that window shrinks in winter.

Can you see the Bellagio fountain shows from the deck?

Yes - that's the deck's signature angle. The fountains are directly across the street, so shows play out straight below you. Check the evening schedule and position yourself on the Strip-facing rail a few minutes early.

Do I need to pick an entry time?

No. Tickets are anytime entry and stay valid for three days from your selected date - buy ahead, then walk up whichever evening the sky cooperates.

What's the sparkle light show and do I need a ticket for it?

From sunset the tower itself runs a free light show every half hour: hundreds of strobes shimmering down the structure. You watch that one from the street or the fountain side of the Boulevard; from the deck you're standing inside it.
