Is The Jets 80's & 90's Experience Worth It? Honest Guide to the Treasure Island Run

The Jets' 80's & 90's Experience has a new home: the Treasure Island Ballroom at Treasure Island, where it plays select Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. Treasure Island's own page lists October 10, 17 and 31, November 7, 14 and 28, December 19 and 26, 2026, and January 2 and 9, 2027, with tickets from $89. The October 31 date is billed as the debut of an expanded production, with more costume changes, live musicians on stage and a dance ensemble, led by founding members Leroy, Haini and Rudy Wolfgramm.

It remains a family nostalgia revue rather than the intact chart-era lineup: the set leans on the Jets catalog ("Crush on You," "You Got It All," "Rocket 2 U," "Make It Real") and fills out with era covers in an '80s and '90s dance-party format. The move is also a step up in price: the old Saturday-afternoon run at the Saxe Theater in Miracle Mile Shops carried a face price near $50, and a hotel ballroom is a flat-floor room rather than a theater, so sightlines from the back depend on the seating plan. No runtime or age policy is published for the new room; the Saxe version ran about 75 minutes and was all-ages.

We marked this show as ended earlier in 2026 after the weekly Saxe Theater run wound down; it is back on sale at Treasure Island as of September 21, 2026. The concert calendar lists what else is on those Saturdays.

Insider tipBuy from Treasure Island's own page: it lists every date and the $89 starting price, while older listings still point at the Saxe Theater in Miracle Mile Shops, where the show no longer plays.
