Las Vegas in November 2026 by Date and Price

The short version: November 2026 in Las Vegas is three different trips wearing one month. November 7–18 is the value window: daytime highs in the high 60s to low 70s, no citywide event once the SEMA trade show clears out on November 6, and the quietest hotel calendar of the month. November 19–21 is the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, when the resorts along the circuit charge far above their usual rate while hotels a mile away barely move. Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, opens a busy family weekend that still priced well under F1 week last year. Pools are mostly closed, the sun sets before 4:45 p.m. every day of the month, and the concert calendar peaks twice, on the weekend of November 13–14 and again over Thanksgiving.

November weather in Las Vegas, date by date

74°F on November 1, 67°F on the 15th, 60°F on the 30th. Those are the National Weather Service's normal daily highs for Las Vegas, and the lows fall the same way, from 53°F to 42°F. The first week still feels like late October. By Thanksgiving week the normal low is 43°F and a jacket is mandatory once the sun drops. The record extremes show how wide the range can get: 87°F on November 1, 1988, and 15°F on November 24, 1938. Neither is likely. Locals dress in layers anyway.

Rain barely registers. On any given November date, the airport has recorded measurable rain in roughly one year out of ten since 1937, and snow is a trace-level curiosity; the only real accumulation in the record is three inches on November 15, 1964. Plan on sunshine. A thin shell in the bag covers the exception.

Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026, so the whole month runs on standard time. Sunset is 4:44 p.m. on the 1st and 4:26 p.m. on the 30th, and sunrise moves from 6:03 to 6:32 a.m., which leaves under ten hours of light by month's end. For day trips, be on the road by 9 a.m.

The trade for those short days is prime hiking weather. Red Rock Canyon is at its best in November, but the Scenic Loop requires a timed-entry reservation between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from October 1 through May 31, on top of the $20 per-vehicle fee, and the drive itself closes at 5 p.m. from November through February. Book the slot before you book the rental car.

Hotel prices and the four dates that set them

Four events decide what a November room costs, and only one of them is a holiday.

• SEMA Show, November 3–6. The automotive aftermarket trade show fills the Las Vegas Convention Center and the hotels within walking distance of it. It's trade-only apart from a public day on Friday, November 6. If you're not attending, arrive on the 7th or later.
• Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, November 19–21. Practice runs Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., qualifying is Friday at 8 p.m., and the race starts Saturday, November 21 at 8 p.m. Pacific. The price effect is real but narrower than the headlines. In the Las Vegas Review-Journal's survey published November 14, 2025, the average rate for Wednesday through Saturday of race week was $194.04 a night across 161 hotels: 16 of them were over $500, but 43 were under $100, and the 15 downtown hotels averaged $106.67. The expensive end sat on the circuit itself, with Wynn and Encore at $1,095, the Venetian at $751 and Bellagio at $588. F1 week isn't expensive everywhere; it's expensive where the track is. • Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26. The same survey put Thanksgiving week 2025, November 26–29, at an average of $126.81 a night, with 42 percent of hotels under $100 and Wynn down to $267. • The spillover after the month ends. The AWS re:Invent tech conference runs November 30 to December 4, and the National Finals Rodeo opens December 3 for ten nights. Check out by Sunday, November 29 and you dodge both.

That leaves two quiet stretches: Sunday, November 8 through Thursday, November 12, and Sunday, November 15 through Wednesday, November 18. Neither has a convention or a race attached, and both are midweek. The figures above are last year's, and a comparable 2026 survey won't exist until race week, but the event calendar repeats almost exactly, so the shape of the month should too. Concerts and residencies in November 2026

Sphere has two bands in the building this month. Metallica's Life Burns Faster residency plays its last two 2026 dates on November 5 and 7 at 8:30 p.m., then goes dark until January 28, 2027; standard seats sold out at the on-sale, so what remains is packages and resale. The Eagles take the dome on November 13, 14, 27 and 28, the second pair landing on Thanksgiving weekend.

The rest of the month clusters around four stretches.

• November 1–7. Bryan Adams at Encore Theater on November 1; Tim McGraw at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 4 and 6–7; Brad Paisley at Encore Theater on November 6 and 7; Santana's House of Blues run, eight dates between November 4 and 15; Barry Manilow at Westgate from November 5; Donny Osmond at Harrah's through November 14; Jeezy at PH Live on November 6, 7, 13 and 14.
• November 13–14, the busiest weekend of the month. The Eagles at Sphere; LISA playing the first of four November nights at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on the 13th; Lionel Richie at Encore Theater on November 11 and 13–14; Teddy Swims at T-Mobile Arena and KATSEYE at MGM Grand Garden Arena, both on the 14th; Danny Elfman at Resorts World Theatre and Babyface at the Pearl, both opening two-night stands on the 13th; Steve Lacy at the Cosmopolitan on the 13th. Hotels sell out before the tickets do that weekend.
• F1 week, November 19–21. Marc Anthony plays Fontainebleau on November 20 and 21 at 10 p.m. As of September 2, 2026, the ticketing calendars are otherwise thin from November 16 to 25; more dates get announced through the fall.
• Thanksgiving weekend, November 26–29. The Eagles return on the 27th and 28th; Journey plays MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday, November 27, and the Jonas Brothers follow there on Saturday the 28th; Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox is at Encore Theater on the 27th; Taylor Dayne opens four November nights at Harrah's Showroom on the 24th.

Every date above comes from the venues' ticketing feeds as of September 2, 2026. Residencies add nights through the fall and occasionally move them, so confirm on the show page before you lock in a non-refundable hotel night. Sports

The Raiders have one November home game: Sunday, November 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, 1:05 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium. The Golden Knights are home at T-Mobile Arena on November 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 28, so the 15th is a doubleheader day for anyone who wants both. Race weekend is the only sports event of the month that closes streets.

Pools in November

The Strip's big dayclubs, TAO Beach at the Venetian and Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand among them, run seasonally and wind down through October. By November, four places still take swimmers.

• Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan moves under its heated Dome for the winter, which makes it effectively the only Strip dayclub running from November through February.
• Stadium Swim at Circa, downtown, runs 365 days a year with six heated pools facing a 143-foot screen. It's the best bet for a Sunday of football in the water.
• Venus Pool at Caesars Palace, the adults-only corner of the Garden of the Gods complex, stays open year-round.
• Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay keeps three of its five pools heated and runs through Super Bowl Sunday, with free general admission.

Hotel pools are a property-by-property call: some keep one heated pool open on shortened hours, others drain everything until March. Ask your hotel before you pack the swimsuit.

Holiday lights start on November 5

Ethel M's Holiday Cactus Garden in Henderson switches on November 5, three weeks before Thanksgiving, and runs nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. through December 23; entry was $3 last season. Glittering Lights, the three-mile drive-through at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, opened November 7 last season at $39 per car in cash ($44 by card), and its 2026 opening date hadn't been posted as of September 2. Enchant returns to Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin on November 20. Bellagio's Conservatory usually flips to its holiday display in mid-November; the 2025 version opened November 14, and the 2026 dates are announced in the fall. Lee Canyon, the ski area under an hour from the Strip, opened November 21 last year, the Friday before Thanksgiving. Dates, prices and the rest of the season are in Christmas in Las Vegas 2026.

What to pack for Las Vegas in November

• Layers. A T-shirt with a midweight jacket covers a 70°F afternoon and a 50°F evening in the first half of the month; add a sweater under it for the last week.
• A real coat for F1 nights. Every session starts after dark, the race at 8 p.m. on November 21, and the normal low that night is 45°F. Grandstand seats are outdoors for hours, so dress for a cold night and then add one more layer.
• Sunscreen and sunglasses. Clear skies most days, and the low late-autumn sun sits in your eyes for most of the afternoon.
• Closed, comfortable shoes. Long walks between resorts and cold marble floors; sandals retire with the pools.
• One dressier layer. Show and restaurant dress codes don't relax for the weather; our what to wear guide has the specifics by venue type.
• Swimsuit only on confirmation. Pack it if your hotel confirms a heated pool or you're heading to one of the four above.

The honest downsides

• Dark by 4:30 p.m. for the second half of the month. Day trips get compressed, and the Strip's outdoor attractions run in the cold after 5.
• The pools. If a pool day is the point of the trip, this is the wrong month; the four above are the short list.
• F1 build-out. The circuit is made of public streets, and grandstands, bridges and barriers go up in the weeks before November 19, so expect detours and slower crossings around Koval Lane and the mid-Strip in the run-up. The first week of the month is the cleanest if construction bothers you.
