MGM Grand
If you could stuff all of Las Vegas under one roof, the MGM Grand could hold it. One of the largest hotels in the world, this 4-star south-Strip giant packs celebrity-chef dining, big-name shows, a vast casino and a huge pool complex into one self-contained resort, from $49/night.

Is the MGM Grand Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates
The MGM Grand is a city unto itself — one of the largest hotels on earth, with thousands of rooms wrapped around a casino, a small army of restaurants (Morimoto, Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak, Wolfgang Puck) and a year-round line-up of shows and headliner residencies. You barely need to leave the building.
The standout amenity is the Grand Pool Complex, one of the biggest in Vegas, with a lazy river and multiple pools — and since May 2025 the pool scene also includes Palm Tree Beach Club, Kygo's dayclub. The trade-off for all that scale is the walking: getting from your room to the Strip or a specific venue can take a while. Rates start around $49 a night before fees — solid value for a full-service 4-star resort.
Budget for the $50-plus-tax resort fee (about $57 a night) and $20–25 self-parking on top of the rate. On the plus side, the resort has its own Las Vegas Monorail station for hopping up the east side of the Strip, Topgolf is right on property, and T-Mobile Arena is a half-mile walk.
Insider tipThe parking fee stretches further than it looks: one 24-hour self-park or valet charge includes in-and-out privileges at every MGM Resorts property in Las Vegas, so you can park once at the MGM Grand and re-park at a sister casino the same day without paying twice — and you can bill it straight to your room.Check Rates & Availability →
