MGM Grand

If you could stuff all of Las Vegas under one roof, the MGM Grand could hold it. One of the largest hotels in the world, this 4-star south-Strip giant packs celebrity-chef dining, big-name shows, a vast casino and a huge pool complex into one self-contained resort, from $49/night.

Is the MGM Grand Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates

The MGM Grand is a city unto itself — one of the largest hotels on earth, with thousands of rooms wrapped around a casino, a small army of restaurants (Morimoto, Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak, Wolfgang Puck) and a year-round line-up of shows and headliner residencies. You barely need to leave the building.

The standout amenity is the Grand Pool Complex, one of the biggest in Vegas, with a lazy river and multiple pools. The trade-off for all that scale is the walking: getting from your room to the Strip or a specific venue can take a while. Rates start around $49 a night before fees — solid value for a full-service 4-star resort.

Insider tipIt's enormous — rooms can be a long walk from the lobby and Strip, so build in extra time getting around the property.
