Easy, and most visitors use nothing else after dark. A ride between Strip resorts usually costs $10 to $20 on a normal evening; the catches are surge pricing and the walk to the pickup zone.

Pickup zones

You cannot be collected at a casino's front door. Each resort has a marked rideshare zone, often by the self-parking garage or a side entrance, and the app names it. At the airport it is the Terminal 1 garage or the Terminal 3 valet level.

Typical prices

  • Between Strip resorts: $10 to $20
  • Strip to Downtown: $15 to $25
  • To or from the airport: $20 to $45, depending on the hotel

When it gets expensive

After a big show, a fight, a stadium game or a club closing at 4 a.m., the same ride can double or triple for an hour. Walk ten minutes away from the venue before you request, or take a taxi: no surge, and flat airport fares of $21 to $29 plus $3 by card, though cabs get scarce at the same moments.

For daytime hops the free trams, the Monorail and the Deuce bus are cheaper than any ride and often faster than Boulevard traffic. The full toolkit is in getting around Las Vegas.
