Harry Reid International Airport, code LAS, and it is the same airport older maps call McCarran. The name changed in December 2021; the code, the terminals and the location did not.

If a shuttle sign, a taxi receipt or a hotel confirmation still says McCarran, nothing is wrong.

Where it is

At the south end of the Strip, about 2 miles from Mandalay Bay and 5 to 6 miles from the north end: 10 to 20 minutes by taxi or rideshare, with flat taxi fares of $21 to $29 by zone. Few big US airports sit this close to the places people are going.

Terminals

Two of them, 1 and 3 (there is no Terminal 2 anymore), linked by a free shuttle. Most domestic airlines use Terminal 1; international and some domestic flights use Terminal 3.

Other airports

There is no second commercial airport. Henderson Executive, south of town, handles private jets and charters; North Las Vegas Airport is general aviation; a few scenic flights to the Grand Canyon leave from Boulder City.

Getting from the terminal to your hotel, with prices, is in airport to the Strip.
