Is House of Magic Worth It? Honest Review & Tips
House of Magic is downtown's rotating comedy-magic showcase — resident headliner Justin Rivera (America's Got Talent) plus a bench of working comic-magicians trading nights in the Delirious Showroom upstairs at Hennessey's Tavern, 425 Fremont Street. The format is club magic in a bar-room: close, loose, participatory, and priced like downtown — discounted seats from about $29 against a $39.95 general admission, with kids 12 and under at half.
Two navigational facts matter. First, since September 2025 there are TWO House of Magic locations in town — this downtown original and a second at Silver Sevens on Paradise Road — so verify which one your ticket names. Second, the venue is genuinely a room above a Fremont Street bar: charming as club-magic context, not a theater experience. Thursday through Sunday at 5 PM, about 75 minutes, family-friendly with a kids' price — and the 5 PM curtain slots perfectly before a Fremont canopy evening.
Insider tipBook the 5 PM downtown show and you've solved the evening: out by 6:15, dinner on Fremont, canopy shows from 7 — the whole night within two blocks, at downtown prices.Check Tickets & Prices →
