The College Football Playoff National Championship comes to Las Vegas for the first time on Monday, January 25, 2027 at Allegiant Stadium: kickoff 4:30 p.m. PT, doors 1:30 p.m., lots open at 10 a.m. The 12-team playoff runs through the first round on December 18 and 19, quarterfinals at the Fiesta Bowl on December 30 and the Cotton, Peach and Rose Bowls on New Year's Day, and semifinals at the Orange Bowl on January 14 and the Sugar Bowl on January 15, so the two finalists are known only ten days before the game. The host committee runs a fan week from January 20 to 25 with free events: CFP Fan Central at the convention center January 22 to 24 with the trophy, autographs and combine drills, the free Playoff Playlist Live concerts January 23 and 24, and Media Day on the 24th.

Tickets are the hard part. The CFP allocates most of the stadium to the two participating schools, which sell to their own fans; the public routes are CFP RSVP, where you reserve tickets for a team at a market-set price and pay only if that team reaches the final, Playoff Premium hospitality packages, and the official fan-to-fan resale exchange. There is no lottery and no face price for the general public, and the stadium box office sells nothing. Allegiant lists its capacity for the game at 62,000, runs cashless with a clear-bag policy, and sells parking in advance.

For a visitor the sensible plan is the fan week, which is free and crowded, plus a bar for the game; a seat is realistic only through a school allocation or at exchange prices that track the matchup.
