Big Bus Las Vegas is the city's open-top, hop-on-hop-off sightseeing loop - a London-style double-decker whose upper deck is uncovered, so you ride in the open air with pre-recorded commentary (English and Spanish) filling in stories about the resorts and landmarks as you pass. It is the standard way for first-timers to get their bearings across the Strip and Downtown without driving or parking.

The route links eleven stops, running from the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign at the south end up the Strip and out to the Arts District and the Mob Museum downtown. Excalibur, the MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, the High Roller, Treasure Island, Resorts World and The Strat each get their own curbside stop. A single 24-hour pass lets you get off at any of them, explore, and reboard the next bus, which comes by every 30 to 60 minutes; a full loop takes an hour and three-quarters to two and a half hours depending on traffic.

A few catches: the open upper deck bakes in Las Vegas summer heat and offers no shade, the day route finishes in the late afternoon so you miss the neon unless you book the separate night tour, and the Strip's traffic can make the loop crawl. Stops also drop you at the curb, not the casino door, so expect long walks in the heat. It is genuinely useful for orientation and photos on a first visit; if you already know the Strip or only need to get from A to B, walking, rideshare or the monorail is usually faster and cheaper.
