Count's Kustoms Car Tour

The Count's Kustoms Car Tour is a three-hour, guide-led bus trip built for fans of reality car TV. It links the two garages made famous by History's Counting Cars and Discovery's Vegas Rat Rods - Danny 'The Count' Koker's Count's Kustoms and Steve Darnell's Welder Up - with the Shelby Heritage Center, where around 30 Cobras, GT350s and other Carroll Shelby machines fill the showroom.

The run opens at the 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' sign for the classic snapshot, then works through the three shops. At each one you get time to walk the floors, look at custom builds and museum-grade muscle cars up close, browse the gift shops and take photos. Every ticket comes with a Count's Kustoms gift-shop voucher, and no meal is included.

Be clear-eyed about what you are buying: Count's Kustoms and the Shelby Heritage Center are both free to walk into on your own, and Welder Up keeps its own public hours, so the ticket really pays for the transport, the running commentary and the convenience of doing them in one loop. The stops are spread across the valley, so a fair share of the time is spent on the bus, and meeting Koker or Darnell is pure luck since these are working shops. For car enthusiasts without a rental car it is an easy, enjoyable morning; drivers who like museums may prefer to hit the three stops themselves.
