Count's Kustoms Car Tour

The Count's Kustoms Car Tour is a half-day, guide-led bus trip built for fans of reality car TV. It links the two garages made famous by History's Counting Cars and Discovery's Vegas Rat Rods — Danny 'The Count' Koker's Count's Kustoms and Steve Darnell's Welder Up — with the Shelby Heritage Center, home to more than thirty Cobras, GT350s and other Carroll Shelby machines.

At each stop you get time to walk the floors, look at custom builds and museum-grade muscle cars up close, browse the gift shops and take photos. The coach also pulls over at the 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' sign for the classic snapshot. Full-price tickets typically include a small gift-shop voucher, and some versions of the tour add a lunch or dinner stop.

Be clear-eyed about what you are buying: all three garages are free to visit on your own, so the ticket really pays for the transport, the running commentary and the convenience of doing them in one loop. The stops are spread across the valley, so a fair share of the time is spent on the bus, no meal is included on the base ticket, and meeting Koker or Darnell is pure luck since these are working shops.
