Hoover Dam – Celebrate America250

The Hoover Dam – Celebrate America250 edition of this trip is no longer sold. Operator Annie Bananie Las Vegas Tours retired the America250 branding after the illuminated 300-foot American flag across the face of the dam came down on July 4, 2026, and as of September 2026 the company's Hoover Dam lineup is down to two tours, neither carrying the America250 name. The same daytime itinerary still runs as the Hoover Dam Small Group Tour with BBQ Lunch Experience, and our page for it is Hoover Dam Tour with BBQ Lunch. That is where the booking lives now. There is also a sunset version with a BBQ dinner, priced the same.

The day itself is unchanged. It leaves at 8:00 a.m. from a set meeting point at Treasure Island, so there is no hotel pickup, and it runs about four hours at $99 per person with the operator, all ages. A small van covers the 45-minute drive southeast to Boulder City, with time on the top-of-dam walkway for views of the dam, Lake Mead and Black Canyon, a photo stop at the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, and lunch at Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ next to the Pawn Stars shop (ribs, a brisket slider, smoked mac and cheese; vegetarian and gluten-free on request). It stays outside: the Bureau of Reclamation's paid interior tours are booked separately.

The honest catch: the flag that gave this edition its name is gone, so the America250 name no longer matches anything you would see out there. The underlying day is a long round-trip for fairly short time actually at the dam, the BBQ and Pawn Stars stop rewards fans of the show more than anyone else, and summer heat on the exposed walkways is punishing. As a Hoover Dam-plus-lunch outing it still works; just book it under its current name.
