Hershey's Chocolate World

Hershey's Chocolate World

A two-story Hershey's flagship inside New York-New York - free to walk in, with an 800-pound chocolate Statue of Liberty, 800+ candies and custom-bar stations that do cost money.

Is Hershey's Chocolate World Las Vegas Worth It? Review

Hershey's Chocolate World is a 13,000-square-foot, two-story flagship store at the front of New York-New York, near the Brooklyn Bridge frontage on the Strip. The photo op everyone comes for is the Statue of Liberty sculpted from roughly 800 pounds of milk chocolate; around it spread more than 800 chocolates and candies, walls of KISSES and Jolly Rancher flavors, a Bake Shoppe doing milkshakes, cookies and chocolate-dipped strawberries, and stations where you can print custom candy-bar wrappers or mix your own assortment from the Amazing Candy Machine.

Be clear about what it isn't: there's no factory tour and no production line - this is a retail store with photo ops, not the Hershey, Pennsylvania experience. Entry is free; the money part starts when you shop, and candy carries Strip souvenir markups over any grocery store. The custom-bar and candy-machine stations draw lines on busy nights, and evenings, weekends and holidays get crowded - mornings are the calm window. Twenty to forty-five minutes covers it.

Insider tipHit the Bake Shoppe counter on a morning visit - no line for the dipped strawberries and milkshakes that draw 20-minute waits after dark.
